Footage from the Syrian civil war depicting a regime Mi-8 helicopter being hit by a surface-to-air missile has been turned into a commercial by a Ukrainian engine-maker.

To showcase the resilience of their products, Motor Sich has created an ad campaign around the image of the helicopter—which is equipped with the company’s engines—surviving a direct hit by an infrared-guided missile in Syria.

Not all of Syrian Pres. Bashar Al Assad’s choppers have been so lucky.

The slogan at the end of the commercial mocks the Syrian rebels’ Muslim faith. “Motorsich akbar” is a twist on the war cry “Allahu akbar,” which means “God is great.”

Al Assad’s warplanes and helicopters are his biggest advantage over rebel forces. Air attacks have killed uncounted thousands of opposition fighters and civilians.
