Beirut/Tel Aviv — At least one pro-Iranian Hezbollah fighter was killed when an Israeli drone struck an area in south Lebanon, state media and Hezbollah said Monday.
Hezbollah said Mustafa Salman was killed in an Israeli drone strike on a motorbike in the Tyre district town of Qlaileh.

Israeli airstrikes also hit Toura mountain in Jezzine deep in south Lebanon, the state-run National News Agency (NNA) said.
The agency said the warplanes fired three missiles at the mountain, destroying a goat barn, killing 700 goats. A Syrian shepherd escaped unharmed.
The Israeli army said warplanes struck a Hezbollah military overnight site in the area of Jabal Toura.
Simultaneously, the army said it struck “a Hezbollah weapons storage facility in the area of Qabrikha, a military structure in the area of Tallouseh, and Hezbollah terrorist infrastructure sites in the areas of Houla and Ayta ash Shab in southern Lebanon.”
The developments come after Hezbollah said the movement launched late on Sunday its “largest” air operation, sending explosive drones at a mountaintop which they said targeted Israeli military intelligence base in the annexed Golan Heights.
Israel and Iran-backed Hezbollah have been fighting almost daily since the beginning of the Gaza war.
There are fears that the conflict could spread as Israel wants Hezbollah to withdraw behind the Litani river, 30 kilometres from the border – as stipulated in UN resolution 1701.
